ABSTRACT

To improve the braking safety of automobiles, the author studied the effect of differential brake on the stabilities. To analyze the mechanical characteristics of differential brake, automotive subsystem models were built by applying ADAMS/CAR, and automotive mechanics simulation model was built by setting the main subsystems such as body, engine and brake. The simulation model studied the distribution mode of three kinds of differential brake, and beeline braking stability and turning braking stability were simulated. It shows that differential brake can amend turning shortage of automobile brake and improve its braking stability, but the effect of automobile mass on its braking stability is great. So the distribution mode of braking force and the effect of mass change should be considered while differential brake is applied.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To provide the information of drug-use in SARS for reference.METHODS:123medical charts of inpatients from April20,2003to May31,2003were analyzed, including the kinds and the cost of drugs that have been used. The frequency of drug-use and DUI were calculated from DDD of drugs. The kinds and costs of drugs used for930employees were also analyzed. The drug cost per employee was compared with that per inpatient.RESULTS:4kinds of drugs were abused. The dosage and usage of the other drugs were appropriate.17kinds of main drugs and2kinds of decoctions prepared by our hospital have been used to inpatients, which costed559440yuans in all,4548.29yuans per inpatient.While14kinds of drugs and one kind of decoction against SARS were used to employees, which costed about500000yuans in all,537.6yuans per employee.CONCLUSION:SARS is still an unknown disease.Although most of the dosage and usage of drugs were appropriate in prevention and treatment of SARS,whether the drugs should be used or not is open to question.

ABSTRACT

Polysaccharide sulphate (PSS) 1. 8, 5. 4 and 18mg ? kg-1 ig could remarkably reduce blood glucose of alloxan - induced diabetes in rabbits . The doses of PSS could decrease the high blood glucose caused by adrenaline . PSS 1. 8 and 5. 4mg ? kg-1 could not reduce blood glucose concentration in normal rabbits, but PSS 18mg ? kg-1 could do. The glucose to lerance test showed that PSS 5. 4 and 18mg ?kg-1 could reduce the increase of blood glucose level caused by glucose loading after administration of glucose in rats (5g ? kg-1, ig) and could also persistently decrease blood glucose of alloxan - induced diabetes in rats after the doses of PSS ig for 5d.
